Journey Off Track

Michael Richmond grew up in Massachusetts and studied Art and Spanish in upstate New York.  Mike has always had an itch to travel and took advantage of high school trips to Costa Rica, Italy and France.  He also did a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain and has visited other amazing places like Canada, Panama, Mexico, Saint Thomas, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, The Canary Islands, Thailand and Indonesia.  He worked for many years as a bilingual preschool teacher and after going back to school for Early Education, opened a Spanish immersion family child care program in Boston.  After six years, the program has closed and now Mike is taking this as an opportunity to travel. 

Ryan Thompson was born in Denver, but spent his childhood traveling with his family to live in destinations like Scotland, Nigeria, Califronia, Texas, The Dem. Rep. of Congo (Zaire), South Africa, Texas again, Indonesia and Malaysia.  He studied Marketing in Boston and did a semester abroad in The Netherlands.  Ryan has also been to many other countries prior to this trip, including, Mexico, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Brazil, Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, Spain, France, Ireland, The United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, The Czech Republic, Greece, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Tanzania, China, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Taiwan.  Ryan has worked in the travel industry and as a bilingual preschool teacher with Mike in Boston.
